Transparent with the look of fresh ice. The slightly druzy texture gives a delicate touch while adding pizzaz by reflecting light from many angles. This Sun Catcher or ornament is a transparent "Neo" lavender tinted fused glass teardrop with green glass leaves and purple glass dots to resemble plums. The lightly tinted base is a true wonder as it looks blue in natural daylight and lilac in incandescent lighting. It will reflect the lights on a tree, from your candles, or sun through a window, turning your room into a wonderland. I confess to having several of them hanging around my house all year long. Hang it from the holiday tree, in a window, from a chandelier, from track lighting rails, even a fan-pull, anywhere you can think of! You can even wear it as a pendant on a decorative cord (cord not included).

This ornament is made by me, in my home glass studio. It has been fired twice and annealed in a programmable kiln and should last for years. That said, it is glass and will not like being dropped on a hard surface or "bent". Please treat and store it appropriately.

—Packaging—

Each ornament comes with its own ribbon hanger and an extra hanger of clear monofilament (fishline) in case you prefer the floating-in-air look. It is packaged in a recycled candy tin (usually Altoids tins, we seem to have a lot of them) with my logo stickers, recycle and donation sticker, a business card (no prices) and is tied with a bow in sparkly aqua ribbon. Carefully padded and wrapped in bright colored tissue paper for protection. Packaged in a padded envelope for shipping, the tin is sturdy and only the most determined elephant should be able to break anything.

—Donations - Save Our Oceans!—

 3% of your entire purchase price for each item will be donated to saving our oceans and ocean cleanup. This is a cause very dear to my heart (Dad was a sea captain and I grew up by the Pacific Ocean). It is also an effort that will benefit the whole planet and all of its people.

—Shop Policies—

Returns and Cancelations - Cancelations are allowed up until the time you receive your shipping notice, then it is sent off and I no longer have the ability to stop it. Returns or exchanges are allowed if I’m notified within 14 days of delivery and the item is returned, in its original condition, within 21 days of delivery. Should something arrive damaged, let me know immediately and we will get it taken care of.

But in a nutshell, I offer Free Shipping on orders that total $35.00 or over (from my shop) and a calculated exact shipping on smaller items to the continental US. I usually ship twice a week, first thing on Tuesday and Friday mornings (on my way to the day job).
